“Technology integration is the use of technology
resources such as computers, mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, digital
cameras, social media platforms and networks, software applications, the
Internet, etc. in daily classroom practices, and in the management of a
school.”(Edutopia.(n.d.). Retrieved September 24, 2015).
Technology should be
integrated into the classroom to enhance strategies that will keep
students engaged in learning. Familiarity with technology will also prepare students for the future since almost all jobs now require the use of technology in some form which will generate a
foundation they need. Technology has great benefits in
the classroom such as:
Visual Field Trip: this is an advantage of using technology in the classroom because of its flexibility and adaptability to differentiated learning. This is done with the use of videos from e.g. Tablets, smartphones, Youtube etc. which is much easy to organised than a physical field trip.

Projectors and PowerPoint presentation: these are used to display diagrams, pictures etc.
Additionally, children tend gravitate to technology so they would be enthused to perform the task given at the present time. On the other hand, with technology it does not just involves only sharing ideas and information with someone else but also receiving feedback e.g. Blogging.
